Riverside Cafe in Medicine Park

The food is amazing and the portion sizes were crazy big. The southwest chicken salad was enough to feed 4 and the fried catfish was so good. We loved the patio and our waitress April was the sweetest. We will definitely be back.

Had to wait 20 min or so, but the food and waitress were awesome. Bison burger was out of this world. Went on 3/1.

I enjoy sitting on the patio near the water. The drinks are cold and the food is yummy.

Spent the day hiking around Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge and stumbled upon this little gem of a town greeting us with food to satisfy. Riverside even had a huge Black Bean Burger 🌱. If you are up this way, definitely take a stop through this area.

Good food enjoyed our burgers and really good fries. Appreciated the fact that outside was pet friendly. They even offered a bowl of water for our pups.

Riverside is amazing! My favorite place to eat in Medicine Park. I was a fan back in the day when they had ribeye and catfish in the menu. I'm an even bigger fan now--not sure how "new" the new menu is, but everything we have tried, from salads to chicken sandwiches to burgers have been SO good and reasonably priced. Also, best ranch ever. Patio is awesome and dog friendly. Great place!

Always a great stop during g our travels. Food is always 5 star, staff are always friendly. Love this place. Smoker friendly on the patio, but beer only menu. I always order the meatateranian steak, medium rare. Absolutely delicious every time.

First time here. Very friendly and peaceful. Staff are great. “Big Pete” plays the guitar on the patio...all the classics that get your foot tappin’ along to the beat. My waitress, Paula, was very helpful in telling about local events and the happenings around town. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

This is the place where I truly fell in love with my man two years ago, and I did it all again today. He is the one for me. And the queso and guacamole were very good and the wait staff were very cute and professional!

Food was good, presentation was poor, service mediocre. Employees lacked smiles and masks were not consistently worn. COVID-19 social distancing standards were lightly followed. The bathrooms are very small and not limited to one person at a time.The view was nice. There was a turtle swimming in the river.

Food was pretty good. A bit pricey. Wait was long once you got to table. Staff could have been more attentive. Was disappointed the staff didn't know more about the area.

Great Breakfast on Sunday morning. Our waitress was very caring and did an excellent job of taking care of our dining experience.The cook came out and visited for a while after we sent our compliments back to him.Wonderful food and the staff really did a fantastic job on our meal at the Riverside!

I popped in with my mom and husband while we were visiting Medicine Park for the day. It wasn't very busy and we got seated quickly at a table near a window overlooking the creek, which was nice. Our server seemed preoccupied and a little annoyed that we had questions about the menu. Once we got our food, she pretty much forgot about us. Food was okay. I'll probably try a different place the next time I'm in town.

Absolutely amazing and the food always a delight and the service has always been great for us and there is usually 4 or more. The scenery by the river love it. You get so much for such a great price.

We stopped in yesterday afternoon for lunch. We were seated on a booth with a great view overlooking the river. We ordered the corn nuggets appetizer and split the Bama chicken sandwich with fries. Everything was delicious, but the fries were the best we’ve ever had! Portion size was perfect to share for lunch and we are hungry people. Wait staff was attentive and welcoming! We will definitely be back!

Riverside Cafe has got to be my favorite restaurant in the area. I absolutely love their outdoor seating option (dog friendly) they usually have live music, pretty string lights, and a beautiful view of the water. The food is amazing! You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Prices are relatively cheap for the large portions you receive. Staff is always friendly. Excellent place to relax & have good food.

Went here twice while visiting my nephew graduating from the army. The buffalo burger was absolutely delicious and i had some if my wives catfish and it was really well fried. We had a bit of a hiccup with an order last time we were there but the manager n waitress both work very well to resolve it and made sure we were taken care of. If i am ever in the area again i will definitely be back for another buffalo burger.

This was the perfect little place to take my spouse on her first tour of medicine park. The staff was awesome, the food was amazing, the view outside was just BEAUTIFUL. There was live artist playing blues, Awesome!!! My spouse loved it and also loved her Bison burger, which she said was probably the best burger she has ever had. We had such a nice tranquil time. We will definitely return when we pass through Oklahoma again. We both highly recommend this great little place.

Good service, huge portions. Our waitress was wearing a mask, but the host wasn't. Otherwise I highly recommend.

Southern style food right on the river. Had the po-boy with okra and was pleased with the quality of the food. Kinda neat place with water front views and the building was built around several large trees. Pretty cool on a windy day to see them move around next to your table.

First time here... food was alright but what made it a less than pleasant experience was the service. I believe the waitresses name was, Poem? I don't know if she was having a rough day or what but she seemed to have a certain attitude towards my husband and I. She wasn't really engaging with us and seem to always walk away, while asking us if we needed anything? 🧐But that was just my experience.

Pretty good food and service. (Burger fare, mostly. I was surprised and pleased to find a black bean burger vegetarian option, however.) Nothing amazing, but you get what you see, and that reliability is nice.

Really pretty place and the guitarist was very good. Great service and even though we only had the cheesy fries they were really good. I am really picky and don't like certain friedls but the seasoning was good enough that I could overlook the potato texture

Great little place across the one lane bridge. Indoor as well comfortable patio seating that is dog friendly as long as ur pup is well behaved. The fried pickles appetizer & burgers were VERY delish. The prices were very reasonable. The patio singer was fun & only a little occasionally off-tune. We'll definitely make this a dedicated stop when come for hiking at Medicine!

First time visitor. Maaaan, the food was soooo good. I'm sad this restaurant isn't in Edmond, but glad as it gives me and my family and excuse to leave the city and get to the more rural part of Oklahoma. Great vibe. Excellent fish. The steak was tender and juicy. Great place to get a sit down meal. Inside/outdoor options for seating, too.

There are trees growing through the dining area. They built around the existing trees instead of cutting them down. The outdoor eating area is nice too. Food was good and the menu has variety without being overwhelming. Staff was very friendly.

All dishes are delicious from here! The service is impeccable as well. During the summer this is our favorite place to sit outside on their patio and enjoy a good meal, the drinks are really well priced.

Cluck Norris. There's a bun under all of that chicken, and once I got to it, it was good too. House chips are good, but the fries are wonderful. We will be back!

So, we let the crowd leave first. Not a bad little restaurant. Real pretty inside with windows looking out to the river. Son and I both had the Cheesy Jane Hamburger with fries. Son ate all of his. The was more than I could eat. Real good burgers. Looking forward to going back.

Sat in the lobby for 15 minutes without being helped. 3 parties came in after us and were helped immediately and put on the wait list, something they didn't even bother telling us about. Promptly walked out after the host got done taking everyones names and numbers...except ours. I've been a server for 3 years and it only takes 2 seconds to acknowledge a guest.

This is an awesome little restaurant that overlooks the Medicine Creek. You have the choice of eating inside for heat or A/C or you can eat on the patio and enjoy the sounds from the rushing water. They have a good selection of food to choose from, I had the Bison burger and it was amazing.
